Cynthia Carlsson, MD, is a UW Health geriatrician and professor in the Department of Medicine, Division of Geriatrics and Gerontology at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. She provides care for hospitalized older adults with dementia and memory issues.Dr. Carlsson has a variety of clinical interests, including age-related dementia in older adults, medications used to treat and delay the onset of Alzheimer’s disease and vascular risk factors for cognitive decline.
