Dr. Wilcox earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 1992. He then completed an internship in internal medicine in 1993. In 1997, Dr. Wilcox finished four years of residency training in radiation oncology at New York’s Beth Israel Medical Center. From 1997 to 1998, he elected to undergo additional training in the radiation oncology subspecialties of brachytherapy, stereotatic radiosurgery and hyperthermia at New York Medical College in New York.
