Nina Rashedi, MD, FACC, FASE, is an American board certified cardiologist, medical director of the Echocardiography Laboratory at the Swedish Providence Hospitals in Seattle and a clinical assistant professor at the University of Washington school of medicine. She attended Chicago Medical School and completed her residency training at the Cleveland Clinic. She attended University of Washington for her general cardiology fellowship and attended the Mayo Clinic for echocardiography training. Dr. Rashedi is currently involved in multiple national and international leadership committees including American Society of Echocardiography (ASE) and is an active member of the American College of Cardiology (ACC). She continues to serve on numerous national leadership positions including chair of the American National Echocardiography E3 and Education committees. Her career highlight thus far has been participating on the very selective prestigious writing committee for the National Board of Echocardiography. She has been part of the prestigious Leadership Academy of the American Society of Echocardiography. She is a frequently invited to speak locally and nationally. Dr. Rashedi has been immensely involved in research related to cardiovascular imaging and valvular heart disease. She has published multiple peer-reviewed papers, book chapters and review articles.
Her clinical expertise encompasses Aortic Valve Stenosis, Mitral Valve Regurgitation, Atrial Fibrillation, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), and Aortic Valve Replacement.
Dr. Rashedi is board certified in American Board Of Internal Medicine. She is actively involved in clinical research, co-authoring 14 peer reviewed articles. Dr. Rashedi is currently accepting new patients.
