Eric Monroe, MD, is a UW Health interventional radiologist who treats both adult and pediatric patients. He uses advanced imaging techniques to treat a wide range of conditions and is committed to providing minimally invasive solutions that help patients heal quickly and safely.Dr. Monroe focuses on interventional radiology, treating conditions that affect patients from head to toe. He uses tools including ultrasound, MRI, CT and X-ray to guide tiny instruments through small openings in the body to treat big problems. His clinical interests include treating benign conditions, managing pain and supporting patients with cancer.Dr. Monroe is also a professor at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, where he conducts clinical research to improve outcomes for interventional radiology.Dr. Monroe believes in working as a team with patients and their families.
