Dr. Rajesh Nair is a board-certified oncology surgeon with the Orlando Health Cancer Institute. He completed his surgical residency at Jefferson Einstein Philadelphia Hospital and Orlando Health Orlando Regional Medical Center, where he served as chief resident. Dr. Nair completed a surgical oncology fellowship at H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute in Tampa. About Dr. Nair Dr. Nair is a board certified by the American Board of Surgery, and he is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Nair has been a principal investigator in multiple research projects and has presented at national and regional medical and surgical meetings, including the Society of Surgical Oncology, the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons, and a Tripartite meeting with similar groups from Great Britain, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand in conjunction with the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons. He has published several articles in peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Nair serves as an assistant professor of surgery at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine and clinical assistant professor of surgery at the Florida State University College of Medicine. He is a member of Orlando Health's graduate medical education team. Outside of work, Dr. Nair enjoys mountain climbing, snowboarding and riding motorcycles.
