Overview
Dr. Billings earned his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine. He completed residency and fellowship training in colon and rectal surgery at Mayo Medical School. Dr. Billings is board-certified by the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery and the American Board of Surgery. Dr. Billings provides general surgery services including: minimally invasive (laparoscopic and robotic) surgery for colorectal cancer and benign conditions; treatment for fecal incontinence, anal fissures, hemorrhoids and fistulas; and surgical treatment of Crohn's disease, diverticulitis and ulcerative colitis. With expert training and specialization, Dr. Billings is the only provider in Eastern Virginia to offer robotic colorectal surgery. Outside of the office, he takes advantage of the variety of landscapes in the area and enjoys camping, fishing and boating.
