He also manages peripheral artery disease, offering both non-invasive and endovascular revascularization options. He is available to assist patients who may have critical limb ischemia and non-healing wounds. Dr. Foster became interested in cardiology because of the fulfilling doctor-patient relationships that develop from treating adults with a high burden of disease. He loves the field because it offers doctors the ability to stay on the ""cutting edge"" of medicine. He enjoys the challenge of treating a very aggressive disease process with both medications and endovascular treatment options. His goal is to help patients make informed decisions so they feel empowered to become part of the Inova team. A native of Shreveport, Louisiana, Dr. Foster resides in Northern Virginia with his wife, three daughters, and their bulldog. In his spare time, Dr. Foster enjoys spending time with his children in the outdoors.".
