He is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.Dr. Kearns earned his undergraduate degree from St. Mary's College in Moraga, California, where he was awarded Magna Cum Laude and graduated first in his class. He then obtained his medical degree from University of California, Irvine, where he was a Regents Scholar. Dr. Kearns completed an internship in general surgery and a residency training in otolaryngology and head and neck surgery at the University of California, San Diego. During his residency in otolaryngology, he served as Chief Resident.Dr. Kearns is a fellow of the American Academy of otolaryngology-head and neck surgery and the American College of Surgeons. He is also a member of the California and Sacramento Societies of Otolaryngology. He is affiliated with Mercy San Juan Hospital, Carmichael and Sutter Hospital in Roseville.
