He is board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology. Dr. Willner is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Association for the Study of Liver Disease, European Association for the Study of the Liver, American College of Physicians, American Medical Association, and the American College of Gastroenterology. Additionally, Dr. Willner was awarded the Department of Internal Medicine attending of the year in 2000.
