He then pursued one year of fellowship training in cardiology at the Boston Veterans Administration Hospital, an affiliate of Tufts/New England Medical Center, and two years at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in NJ. Over the course of his career, he has participated in many national and international studies to advance the understanding and management of heart disease.Dr. Ricculli is a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.

He then completed fellowships in Cardiovascular Disease and Coronary and Peripheral Vascular Intervention at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center / Harvard Medical School and additionally obtained a Masters of Science in Clinical Epidemiology from the Harvard School of Public Health prior to moving back to Columbia.
