Frank Beardell, MD, is a board-certified hematologist/oncologist who treats patients with anemia, bleeding disorders, clotting disorders and benign white and red blood cell disorders. He completed his residency in internal medicine at the Medical Center of Delaware and went on to complete two fellowships at Thomas Jefferson University — one in hematology/oncology and one in bone marrow transplantation.|A man of numerous professional accomplishments, Dr. Beardell is especially proud of his work as the medical director of the Bone Marrow/Stem Cell Transplant Program at Christiana Care Health System in Wilmington, Del., from 2003 to 2022. In fact, he was named 2012’s Man of the Year by the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Delaware Chapter for service to patients and families battling cancers of the blood.|In his spare time, Dr. Beardell enjoys skiing, cycling and sailing, as well as spending time with his family.
