Dr. Conoyer is a seventh-generation resident of St. Charles County and a second-generation otolaryngologist—head & neck surgeon. His original findings linking smoking to hearing loss garnered attention from national news outlets and many scientific citations. After serving a year as Chief Resident, he moved his family back home to St. Charles County to join Midwest ENT Centre in 2008.

He was the first in the bi-state area to perform an in-office balloon sinus dilation procedure and remains among the nation’s most experienced with these procedures. He has similarly been a pioneer with many other office-based ENT technologies, including the Vivaer® procedure (treating nasal obstruction), Eustachian tube dilation, posterior nasal nerve treatments for vasomotor rhinitis, steroid-eluting sinus implantations and the fitting and placement of direct-drive hearing aids.
Dr. Conoyer lives in St. Charles County with his wife, Ellen, and their four children. When not caring for his patients, he enjoys coaching youth basketball, wildlife land management and hunting. He is active in his Church, his local parish, and several outreach ministries.
