Dr. Gabriel Zada

Gabriel Zada, MD, MS, FAANS, FACS, is Professor of Neurological Surgery, Otolaryngology, and Physiology & Neuroscience at the Keck School of Medicine of USC and an internationally recognized leader in brain, skull base, and pituitary tumor surgery. He serves as Vice Chair of Education and Residency Program Director, Surgical Director of the USC Brain Tumor Center, and Director of the USC Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery Program.

Dr. Zada has performed more than 3,000 cranial operations, specializing in minimally invasive and endoscopic approaches for brain, pituitary, and skull base tumors. He completed fellowship training under Dr. Edward Laws at Harvard/Brigham and Women’s Hospital and advanced training under Dr. Paolo Cappabianca in Naples, Italy.

An NIH-funded investigator, Dr. Zada has authored more than 400 peer-reviewed publications and 3 surgical textbooks. He is Editor of *Neurosurgical Focus* and President-Elect of the AANS/CNS Joint Section on Tumors.
