As Director of Quality and Patient Safety for Medical Oncology at the Monter Cancer Center, Dr. Tony Philip is committed to improving clinical outcomes. Board Certified in Hematology and Medical Oncology, Dr. Philip s clinical practice is solely dedicated to the treatment of patients with gastrointestinal cancers and sarcomas (cancers of the soft tissue and bone). He maintains an active medical practice focusing on compassionate, personalized, evidence-based multi-disciplinary care. He participates in research focused on improving the care of patients with these diseases. Currently an Assistant Professor at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell, Dr. Philip completed his Hematology/Oncology fellowship at North Shore-LIJ and his internal medicine residency at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. Dr. Philip earned his MD at University at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. He is an active member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, Connective Tissue Oncology Society, and American College of Physicians. Dr. Philip completed the Northwell Physician Leadership Development Program and the American Society of Clinical Oncology Quality Program.

Jonathan Kolitz, MD, FACP, is Professor of Medicine at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. As an attending physician at the Monter Cancer Center, Dr. Kolitz focuses on providing compassionate, personalized, evidence-based care. Dr. Kolitz earned his medical degree from the Yale University School of Medicine. He trained in Internal Medicine at North Shore University Hospital and Hematology and Medical Oncology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Dr. Kolitz is an active member of the American Society of Hematology, American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American College of Physicians.
