Dr. Allan Chen

Dr. Allan Chen is a fellowship-trained cardiologist at Orlando Health Heart and Vascular Institute. He specializes in advanced cardiac imaging, and his extensive board certifications include internal medicine, cardiology, cardiovascular disease, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology and cardiovascular computed tomography (CT). He is also Level III certified in cardiac magnetic resonance imaging. He completed an internal medicine residency at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans and a fellowship in advanced cardiovascular imaging at the University of South Florida in Tampa. About Dr. Chen Dr. Chen is board certified in internal medicine, cardiology and cardiovascular disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He also is certified in echocardiography by the National Board of Echocardiography, in nuclear cardiology by the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology and in cardiac computed tomography by the Certification Board of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography. Dr. Chen also is Level III certified in cardiac magnetic resonance imaging. A frequent presenter at medical meetings, Dr. Chen has been published extensively and volunteers his time providing free medical care to those in need. He also teaches. Outside of work, Dr. Chen enjoys traveling, exercising and discovering new restaurants. He previously was a competitive pianist. Dr. Chen is fluent in English and Mandarin.
