An expert in cancer care, Dr. Ellen Early brings broad-based knowledge and expertise to Atlantic Medical Group. She joins Atlantic Hematology Oncology, a growing team that is housed at Carol G. Simon Cancer Center at Morristown Medical Center. Board certified in internal medicine and medical oncology, Dr. Early diagnoses and treats cancer patients using a multidisciplinary approach, which includes radiation and surgical oncology and incorporates clinicians who work collaboratively to deliver the highest quality cancer care possible. In practice for over 25 years, Dr. Early has particular interest in caring for people with breast and lung cancers. Regarded by patients, families and colleagues for both her expertise and her compassion, Dr. Early strives to educate patients about their condition and discuss how to choose the best individualized treatment plan. Passionate about research, Dr. Early has participated in clinical trials throughout her professional career and utilizes chemotherapies, medications and targeted modalities to treat cancers of the breast and lung. After graduating from Saint Peter's University with a bachelor's of science in Biology, Dr. Early went on to achieve her master's degree in molecular biology at City University of New York in Brooklyn. She attended Georgetown University School of Medicine and performed both her internal medicine residency and her fellowship training in hematology and oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
