Originally from Jordan, Dr. Hussam Hamdalla attended the Jordan University School of Medicine before working in hospital settings in Jordan and in the United States. Dr. Hamdalla moved to the United States in 1998, eventually landing in Kentucky, where his career took him to Lexington and, later, to Danville. He was drawn to expanding local programs and resources available for patients, delivering best care and helping both communities. Dr. Hamdalla said his patient care philosophy remains the same no matter where he works – to help his patients understand the problem, respect their opinions, and to help them find the best path for their care. “Patients have changed and are more involved in their health now.
