Dr. Maheswary Jegatheswaran earned her medical degree at the University of Jaffna in Sri Lanka. She completed her internship and residency in internal medicine at Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center/One Brooklyn Health System in New York and a fellowship in hospital medicine at the University of Toronto. Board certified in internal medicine, Dr. Jegatheswaran is a member of the American College of Physicians. She has been in practice since 1993 and treats patients ages 15 and older.
