He went on to complete fellowships in Cardiovascular Disease and Advanced Heart Failure & Transplant Cardiology at Duke University Hospital. He also completed a research fellowship at the Duke Clinical Research Institute.Dr. Loungani specializes in Cardiomyopathy, Advanced Heart Failure, and Cardiac Transplantation. He additionally has a special interest in caring for patients with Cardiac Amyloidosis. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiology, and most recently board certified in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology.
