Dr. Robert Skrokov

Robert A. Skrokov, M.D.Dr. Skrokov is a physician in the Department of Dermatology at Northwell Health. He is board certified in dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology.Dr. Skrokov graduated from Rutgers University summa cum laude with a degree in biochemistry where he was a Henry Rutgers Scholar and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. He earned his medical degree from the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center/Kings County Hospital. He completed his internship at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and he completed his residency in dermatology at the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center/Kings County Hospital while also serving as Chief Resident in his final year.Dr. Skrokov has held faculty positions State University of New York Downstate Medical Center and at the State University of New York Stony Brook Medical Center, where he trained residents in dermatology as well as medical students.Dr. Skrokov has served on the boards of both the Long Island Dermatological Society and the Suffolk Dermatology Society, and he has served as Past President for both organizations. He has participated in numerous skin cancer screenings in the community. Dr Skrokov has been on Castle Connolly s and Newsday s lists of Top Doctors on Long Island for the last several years.Dr. Skrokov has practiced dermatology in the Bay Shore area for over three decades. His clinical interests include the diagnosis and therapy of inflammatory and autoimmune skin diseases such as immunobullous diseases, psoriasis, connective tissue diseases, atopic dermatitis, allergic contact dermatitis and skin signs of internal disease. He also diagnoses and treats skin cancer.
