I knew then I would be in health care somewhere,” said Sara.She received a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree from the University of Iowa before becoming a nurse practitioner. She’s a lifelong learner, most recently studying taekwondo.Patients like how Sara explains things in a way you can understand. “I just like talking to people. It gives me great pleasure when I can help them,” Sara said.Sara is married and her three sons are now adults. She likes to crochet and donate baby blankets, enjoys distance swimming and loves her pets.
