Dr. Wendell Lake

Wendell Lake, MD, is a UW Health neurosurgeon (brain, spine and nerve surgeon). He’s also an assistant professor at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in the Department of Neurological Surgery.Dr. Lake diagnoses and treats people with brain and spine diseases. These conditions include epilepsy, essential tremor, Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders. He also treats trauma (sudden injury), fractures and degenerative (worsening) spine conditions.As a neurosurgeon, Dr. Lake often performs advanced brain and spine surgery and other procedures, such as deep brain stimulation.To deliver the best care, Dr. Lake listens closely to patients and their families.
