Dr. Yaron A. Moshel

Yaron A. Moshel, MD, PhD, is a board-certified neurosurgeon specializing in complex brain and skull base tumors. He serves as President of Atlantic Brain & Spine, Chair of Neurosurgery at Morristown Medical Center, and Director of the Brain Tumor Center at Atlantic Health System.

Dr. Moshel specializes in the surgical treatment of benign and malignant brain tumors, including deep-seated and complex tumors that may be difficult to access. His expertise includes gliomas and glioblastoma, meningiomas, pituitary tumors, metastatic brain tumors and skull base tumors.

He uses advanced neurosurgical techniques including awake craniotomy and brain mapping, computer-guided navigation, endoscopic endonasal surgery, microsurgery, 5-ALA fluorescence-guided surgery and laser interstitial thermal therapy (LITT). His practice also incorporates stereotactic radiosurgery and targeted treatments such as GammaTile® brachytherapy for appropriate patients.

Dr. Moshel is actively involved in brain tumor research and clinical trials investigating new approaches for aggressive and recurrent tumors.
