Overview
Dr. Anne Kittendorf is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at Michigan Medicine. After graduating with her B.S. in Cellular and Molecular Biology, she remained in Ann Arbor for medical school, graduating in 2001, and Family Medicine residency, graduating in 2004. She has remained on faculty at the Dexter Health Center since that time.Besides her clinical work, Dr. Kittendorf enjoys multiple teaching roles. She currently teaches medical students during their Family Medicine rotation, and has previously enjoyed teaching within the medical school about medical ethics, healthcare policy and professionalism. She currently also teaches within the University of Michigan Family Medicine Residency in Chelsea, and is in charge of the Health Policy/Advocacy curriculum for residents. Because of her work in advocacy, she was the recipient of the national Society of Teachers in Family Medicine Advocacy Award in 2017.
