Dr. David L. Stotts
Overview
Dr. David Stotts has combined training in family medicine and osteopathic neuromuscular medicine. This unique experience enables him to diagnose and treat illness and injury in the primary care setting using techniques that include stretching, gentle pressure and resistance. Dr. Stotts is also trained in the use of Nexplanon, a hormone-releasing birth control implant for use by women of childbearing age. In addition to providing comprehensive family medicine services, he treats nerve and muscle disorders, including diabetic neuropathy, muscular dystrophies and ALS.Dr. Stotts earned his medical degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth. He also completed his family medicine/osteopathic neuromuscular medicine residency at UNTHSC. Dr. Stotts is a member of the American Academy of Osteopathy, American Osteopathic Association and Texas Osteopathic Medical Association.
