Dr. Tahseen Mozaffar is a Professor of Neurology, Orthopaedic Surgery and Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at University of California, Irvine. He is the Director of the UC Irvine-MDA ALS and Neuromuscular Center and the Director of the Division of Neuromuscular Diseases. Dr. Mozaffar serves as chair of one of the biomedical committees and the institutional liaison for Trials Innovation Hub for the Center for Translational Sciences Award (CTSA) at University of California, Irvine. She completed a residency in neurology at University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, followed by a fellowship in neuro-oncology at Duke University School of Medicine in Durham, N.C.Bota's academic research and clinical practice focus on innovative treatments for brain malignancies. She currently serves as a principal investigator for numerous studies including novel glioblastoma stem-cell targeted chemotherapy agents, cellular immunotherapy studies and wearable devices. She consults for multiple companies involved in developing drugs, cellular therapies and devices for human use.
