Dr. David D. Chism

Dr. Chism as a board-certified medical oncologist and hematologist with Tennessee oncology. He provides comprehensive, evidence based care for patients with all types of cancer and blood disorders, combining the latest scientific advances with a personalized, compassionate approach. His clinical interest include genitourinary cancers, thoracic malignancies including lung cancers, gastrointestinal cancers, breast cancers, hematologic malignancies, and the integration of immunotherapy, targeted therapies, and novel biologic treatments into routine clinical practice. He is passionate about expanding access to invasive cancer therapies through clinical research and improving cancer care delivery and community and roll settings. He has served in national leadership roles with the American society of Clinical Oncology and contributes to initiatives focus on quality improvement, Health equity, workforce development, and patient access to care. Dr. Chism believes every patient deserves access to most effective treatments available, delivered with compassion, clear communication, and a commitment to improve in both outcomes and quality of life.
