"Dr. Lauren C. Dr. Stefan O. Ciurea is a UCI Health hematologist and director of the Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation and Cellular Therapy Program at the Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center.Ciurea earned his medical degree at Grigore T. Popa University of Medicine and Pharmaceuticals in Iasi, Romania. He completed an internal medicine residency at UPMC Pinnacle Harrisburg in Harrisburg, Pa. Prior to joining UCI Health, she served as an assistant professor and researcher at Wayne State and the Karmanos institute, she was the principal site investigator on more than 20 lung cancer studies.Nagasaka, who is fluent in Japanese, sees patients at the UCI HealthChao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center in Orange.
