Dr. Saira A. Samani
Overview
Dr. Saira Samani is a fellowship-trained interventional cardiologist with board certifications in nuclear cardiology, echocardiography and cardiovascular computed tomography. She is also a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation qualified to access blood flow using vascular ultrasound imaging. As a skilled interventional cardiologist, Dr. Samani also uses catheter-based procedures to treat common and complex heart valve and vascular diseases. Her other areas of focus include the management of heart rhythm disorders and heart health in women. Dr. Samani earned her medical degree in Karachi, Pakistan. She completed her internal medicine residency at Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, Mass., serving as chief resident in her final year.
