Overview
Dr. John Greskovich is a board-certified radiation oncologist and is with BayCare Medical Group in Tampa Bay, Florida, where he sees patients age 18 and older. He earned a Doctor of Medicine from The Ohio State University College of Medicine in Columbus, Ohio, and completed a radiation oncology residency and radiation oncology fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Greskovich studied and researched particle therapy as a graduate student at The Ohio State University. After completing his fellowship in stereotactic radiosurgery and thoracic oncology, he joined the staff at Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. Dr. Greskovich went on to complete an executive MBA in health care management at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. Previously, he was the Chair of the Department of Radiation Oncology at Cleveland Clinic in Florida from 2015-2025. Dr. Greskovich has directed clinical and research programs in head and neck, lung and esophagus cancers. He has a special interest in advanced radiation techniques such as intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), image-guided radiation therapy (IGRT), adaptive radiation therapy (ART), PET-guided radiotherapy, high dose-rate (HDR) brachytherapy, stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) and technology innovation. Dr. Greskovich has contributed numerous articles to peer-reviewed publications including the International Journal of Radiation Oncology, Biology, Physics, Seminars in Oncology, Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery, Head & Neck, JAMA Otolaryngology Head Neck Surgery, Oral Oncology, Laryngoscope, Cancer, Practical Radiation Oncology, the Journal of Clinical Brachytherapy and Anticancer Research. He’s a member of the American Society of Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology and the Florida Society of Clinical Oncology. Dr. Greskovich is the Medical Director for BayCare’s Department of Radiation Oncology and is affiliated with St. Joseph’s Hospital and St. Anthony’s Hospital.
