Dr. Jerry P. Roy

Jerry P. Roy, MD, MBA, is a board-certified cardiologist and interventional cardiologist specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of coronary artery disease and structural heart disease. He provides acute, chronic and preventive cardiovascular care for adult patients. Dr. Roy has a clinical focus on aortic valve disease and coronary artery disease. He performs advanced interventional procedures including transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) with coronary stenting, intracoronary imaging, atherectomy and mechanical circulatory support. With more than 11 years of experience in interventional cardiology, Dr. Roy is committed to delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care. He has successfully built and led a cardiology practice in south central Kentucky and has been recognized as a top cardiologist for quality of care and consistency. Dr. Roy believes in treating the whole person, not just the diagnosis. He takes time to explain each patient's condition, discuss why a treatment is recommended, and help patients understand what to expect throughout their care. His goal is for every patient to leave feeling heard, informed and confident in the plan ahead, whether they need reassurance or treatment for a complex heart condition.
