The desire to learn about the human body in health and in sickness, coupled with experience as a child who spent about six weeks in a hospital bed receiving excellent care from the National Orthopedic Hospital in Nigeria, led to my interest in medicine. Post graduation from medical school, I discovered over time that I have a special affinity for oncology patients and this led to my decision to pursue sub-specialty training in hematology and oncology.What I want my patients to know about me:I want my patients to know that they will be treated with compassion, kindness, honesty, openness and respect at all times. My goal always is to work with the patient towards achieving the best outcome in their unique situation. They will always receive excellent care at WellSpan Health, and their care will always be in keeping with the highest standards of our profession. What I do when I'm not seeing patients:Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family. I also enjoying reading a good book-preferably classical literature and history.
