Dr. Haitham R. Dib

Haitham Dib, M.D., M.B.A., FACC, FACP, FHSA, has been on the AtlantiCare medical staff since 1999. He has held numerous administrative leadership roles during his tenure with AtlantiCare. In addition to caring for patients with heart failure, Dr. Dib’s specialty interests include treating structural heart disease and managing cardiac arrhythmias. He has extensive experience in the implantation and management of pacemaker devices. “The majority of my patients consider me their friend, and I consider them my friends. That stems from the fact that, over the years, we have built this mutually trusting and respectful relationship,” he says. After earning his medical degree from Damascus University Medical School in 1986, Dr. Dib relocated from Syria to the United States, where he completed his internal medicine residency at Atlantic City Medical Center. He is fellowship-trained in both critical care and cardiology, and holds numerous national board certifications, including: internal medicine, critical care medicine, cardiovascular medicine, advanced heart failure and heart transplant, echocardiography, and nuclear cardiology. Dr. Dib is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology, the Heart Failure Society of America, and the American College of Physicians. He is also a member of the American College of Physicians Leadership and has earned the credential of Certified Physician Executive.
