Dr. Viswanath Kalapatapu

Dr. Viswanath Kalapatapu is a graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute where he holds a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering. He then earned his medical degree from AUC School of Medicine and completed his medical residency at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, Ga. Board certified in internal medicine, Dr. Kalapatapu has been in practice since 1997 and sees patients ages 18 and older. His primary clinical interests are preventive care, diabetes management and high blood pressure. A leader in the medical community, he has served as the chief of staff for Memorial Hermann Katy Hospital and Memorial Hermann Rehabilitation Hospital-Katy, where he remains on the governing board. A good listener, Dr. Kalapatapu focuses on empathy and collaboration with patients, taking time to communicate and explain complex health topics.
